E. I. Medical - Real Time Diagnostic Animal Ultrasound
"We are located at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains in beautiful Loveland, Colorado. E. I. Medical was founded in 1984 with the goal of producing an electronically state of the art real-time ultrasound scanner to supply to the market of veterinarians and livestock producers world wide. Whereby real-time ultrasound technology could be obtained at a reduced size and cost when compared to scanners available for human medical purposes. Still to this day, we are proudly the only U.S. manufacturer of ultrasound systems designed and developed for the animal industry!
Our Mission:To provide the veterinarian and the livestock producer with portable diagnostic
ultrasound that is designed with state of the art computer electronic technology. A scanner that is versatile for scanning all animal species, all applications, tough and reliable, simple to use, and affordable in the livestock industry.
In 2002, E. I. Medical introduced the "Bantam" which is our capstone product. The Bantam takes scanning to a whole new level. This is the smallest ultrasound on the veterinary/livestock market. This system can do everything any tabletop system can do, except it weighs only 30 ounces including the onboard lithium battery! The response from clients across the globe have been dramatic. The “Bantam” Real Time Portable Diagnostic Scanner has been a great success in the swine, equine, dairy, and bovine production settings as well as major Universities and research divisions.
As a company E. I. Medical has experienced tremendous growth since 1984, developing a very satisfied base of clients. Our commitment to the Veterinarians and Livestock Producers is never-ending and drives us to constantly develop new ways of improving not only our ultrasound scanners, but the service that our clients not only desire but deserve.
